It’s all good and well for the first hundred kms but there’s a point in the not too distant future when you’re suddenly sick of your partner humming the same song on repeat, playing the number plate game again... and you definitely don’t want to be asked ‘how long till we get there’ again… whew. It’s about this point you remember you like the idea of road trips more than the reality of them and that my friend is when you need to start snacking...

The Karma Drinks fair trade organic gingerella isn’t made in NZ but the rest of the consumables are. 

The best bit is that this hamper comes in a beautiful reusable Zay handwoven basket (assorted colours) ethically made in Myanmar, so next weekend (when you’re definitely not going on another road trip) you can use it at your local market instead.
